Marshall Lecture - Dr. Baruch Blumberg
– September 26, 2000 –
ASU and the Astrobiology Program were pleased to host Dr. Baruch Blumberg, a 1976 Nobel Prize recipient who is the Director of the NASA Astrobiology Institute (NAI) headquartered at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA.

A special reception for teachers interested in teaching space sciences was held before the lecture on the Gammage terrace. Representatives from the ASU Astrobiology Program, the NASA Space Photography Laboratory, the Challenger Center, the Center for Earth and Space Science Education, and the ASU Mars K-12 Education and Outreach Program participapted and are featured in the following photos.
